04.11.12 / KASU / Prishtina Jazz Festival 2012

Kaja Draksler and Susana Santos Silva met within the European Movement Jazz Orchestra, a project that started in the Spring of 2007 with the idea of being the cultural ambassador of Germany, Portugal and Slovenia during the time of their presidency of the European council.

The musical complicity and the desire to make this project has grown over the years. Finally they put together a band that also features Jure Pukl, Demian Cabaud and Herbert Pirker.

Kasu is a collective of musicians and musical ideas that blend and merge to create a very unique sound. The original compositions from all the band members are not an end in themselves but the starting point for music to happen.
