This summer, the eleventh edition of HAPU – Festival of Art in Public Space successfully concluded. For the first time, the festival extended to Gjakova, in collaboration with the “For Gjakova” Foundation, bringing art to the streets and squares of the city on August 1–2, while from August 2–5, Prishtina turned into a lively stage for artists from France, Germany and Portugal.

What did we experience together?

• Juan Ignacio Tula’s captivating spins took us on a journey between universal and personal experiences, transforming the energy of the circle into poetry of movement.

• Tac o Tac brought us back to the streets of the cities with unexpected jumps and explosive energy, making the sky and sidewalks part of the game.

• Frank Bölter’s giant origami, which we folded together with the audience, became a symbol of collective play and shared transformation.

• Mimo’s Dixie Band brought the sounds of New Orleans and created an atmosphere where music, audience and artists came together in a lively and lively spectacle.

HAPU 2025 was an invitation to see our everyday space differently – as a place of transformation, meeting and play. This edition showed us that art can turn every street into a stage and every passerby into a participant.
