The second piece of the "Lament of the Earth" audio-visual cycle, "Occupy Air" composed for accordion and electronics, addresses the urgent issue of air pollution and climate change. " Occupy Air" follows the structure of the first piece of the cycle, inspired by warming stripes representing rising global temperatures.
Focusing on climate change, and inclusion in her work, Donika, integrates these topics into her acousmatic and electroacoustic compositions in recent years. "Occupy Air" highlights the critical impact of air pollution on public health and the environment, urging increased awareness and action.
