ODA Theatre opens the call for applications for Pitch Session #2, within the Emerging Voices Program, a program that aims to empower young people in developing a new generation of theater and art practitioners in public space in Kosovo.

This call is addressed to students, artists, directors, producers and young emerging creators, who have ideas or projects in development with social relevance, or who are still in the ideation phase and wish to develop them further through mentoring and collective work.

Pitch Session #2 is a presentation space, where participants have the opportunity to: present their ideas for artistic projects in development or in the initial phase; work towards transforming ideas into feasible artistic proposals.

Who can apply?

The call is open to young artists and creators, students and practitioners of theater and performance, women and youth, individuals or groups working in an interdisciplinary manner, as well as people with ideas or projects in the initial phase.

The project team can be formed in advance, but Pitch Session #2 can also serve as a space to find collaborators, where the presentation of the idea itself creates the opportunity for the formation and completion of the team during the project development process.

Some of the presented projects will be selected by the ODA Theater team and will then be mentored, developed further and/or receive financial support, based on the needs of the projects and opportunities during 2026, within the Emerging Voices Program.

How does the program work?

Participants form interdisciplinary groups according to the needs of the project (actors/actresses, directors, producers, designers, performers, etc.).

The process is supported by ongoing mentoring.

Proposals are developed into viable productions.

The plays, works or performances are presented in alternative and unconventional spaces in Kosovo, broadening cultural access and encouraging new forms of public engagement.

Public debates and post-show discussions are organized after the presentations to encourage critical reflection.

Submission date: 12 February 2026.

Projects selected through the call will be invited to present.
